Ae Where to...

Postby Tengi » Tue Dec 15, 2009 5:36 pm

Hey i Was wondering where you guyz pick up your skimboards from...
Im after a decent board but I dont wanna spend much on it been looking at the Woody Victorians on the net but if theres some where else yous know of it'd be appritiated.

Not to excited about getting a wooden board cause it doesnt seem as progressive
Does anywhere in darwin even stock a decent skimboard range or can i order one in from city beach or something..?

Whats your preference on tides for skimming in Darwin, Cas , mindil or nightcliff..?

Thanks

Hey I looked into it and beach bums in fannie bay stock nemo skim boards apperently on the nemo site it says thats who handles their boards in The NT anyway. Are their boards any gud ?

I checked out cas beach yesterday down near the surf club at about 6 30. high tide was at 6:09 I believe Im not sure which way the swell was comming in, Its the first time Ive been down there with the tide that high and it was actually like right up to the rocks on the left.

But the conditions were pretty sweet there were actually waves that were close enough to get onto. the breaks were real close up to the nice wash or what ever its called If you had the skillz lol I seem to lack.I think you could actually catch some wave action.
Not long after dark the mosiquito's were out like crazy tho was pretty effed up.

Anyway Anyone thats interested in teaching me how to skim better (as I suck pretty bad at the moment. Let me know.

HAd to edit this the waves were proberly only like 4 ft or so but its darwin and i havent been to the beach for a while so yer lol their counted as waves to me.
